From: Associated Press

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- On a night when Louisville honored one of its greats, it was Georgetown that ended up turning back the clock.
The Hoyas (No. 23 ESPN/USA Today; No. 22 AP) continued their rise Wednesday night, easing by Louisville 73-65 for their sixth straight win

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) Rick Pitino couldnt help but roll his eyes at the question.
"Do I have to?" Pitino said with a somewhat exasperated sigh when asked about Louisvilles shooting woes.
With less than a month to go in the regular season, Pitino might be running out of answers and the cold-shooting Cardinals might be running out of time if they want to make the NCAA Tournament.

Louisville comes up short against 'Nova, 57-53
From: Associated Press

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Shane Clark scored 12 points and Mike Nardi had 11 to lead Villanova to a 57-53 win over Louisville on Saturday.
Curtis Sumpter scored 10 points and Scottie Reynolds had 10 assists as Villanova (15-7, 4-5 Big East) snapped a two-game losing streak with a win the Wildcats sorely needed if they want to crack the top half of the Big East standings.

Cards face tough test at Villanova
By: Shannon Poynter - Staff Writer

Louisville goes into the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia on something of a roll, having won four in a row and landing their first three road wins in the Big East since kicking off league play in 2006 against Providence.
But it's fair to say...Louisville (16-6, 6-2 Big East) hasn't won in an environment like they'll face in Philadelphia in quite a while. Perhaps back to the December 2004 match-up against Florida in Gainesville.

Cards bury Cincinnati, 69-53
From: Associated Press

CINCINNATI (AP) -- David Padgett scored 18 points and intimidated Cincinnati's smaller front line into missing or passing up shots Wednesday night, leading Louisville to a 69-53 victory that extended the Cardinals' midseason run.
Louisville (16-6, 6-2 Big East) has won four of its last five against Cincinnati. The Cardinals improved to 5-9 on the Bearcats' current home court, the most victories by any visiting team.
After a slow start to the season, the Cardinals' inexperienced lineup has gotten healthy and gained maturity, running off 11 wins in their last 13 games. The Cardinals have already matched their Big East victory total from last season.

Louisville comes back to beat Syracuse, 76-71
From: Associated Press

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- Terrence Williams scored 11 points -- including back-to-back 3-pointers with just over two minutes to play -- to lift Louisville to a 76-71 win over Syracuse Saturday.
Louisville guard Edgar Sosa led all scorers with 19 points and the Cardinals held Syracuse to one field goal in the game's final nine minutes to spoil Orange coach Jim Boeheim's 1,000th game.
Eric Devendorf had 18 points and nine rebounds for Syracuse (15-6, 4-3 Big East), but the Orange turned the ball over 17 times and allowed a 14-point lead to slip away.
